In 2024, Shoe Tree Brewing was honored with a silver award in the World Beer Cup. The ceremony took place at The Venetian in Las Vegas, where awards were presented in 110 different beer-style categories. Shoe Tree Brewing is a 7-bbl brewpub located in Carson City that takes pride in brewing both classic and inventive beers. Often referred to as “The Olympics of Beer,” the World Beer Cup acknowledges international brewing excellence. This year’s winners were chosen by an international panel of 280 beer judges from 37 countries, evaluating a total of 9,300 entries from 2,060 breweries and 50 countries.
The Brewers Association established the World Beer Cup competition in 1996 to celebrate the art and science of brewing. For more information about the awards and winners, visit https://www.worldbeercup.org.
