DOE Issues Solicitation for Support Services for National Energy Technology Laboratory Facility Operations

An invitation to submit proposals has been issued by the Department of Energy for Site Operations Support Services 5, a small business set-aside contract. This contract involves providing a range of housekeeping and facility operations services to support the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). The services required for SOS5 include research and development, general engineering, site operations, property management, industrial hygiene, and waste disposal support.

The RFP was posted on SAM.gov on Monday. This solicitation will benefit the NETL facilities in Oregon, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. However, specific work locations and contract type cost will be determined based on individual requirements. The base period of performance for SOS5 is 24 months with three options available to extend work to 60 months if exercised.
