The Southeastern Louisiana University women’s basketball program will be hosting Bunko for Basketball, an exciting event that aims to raise funds for the Green and Gold Coaches Club. This event will take place on May 3rd at the SLU War Memorial Student Union Ballroom, with dinner starting at 6 p.m. and fast-paced Bunko games commencing at 7 p.m.
Attendees can expect to enjoy a night of fun and games while also taking part in raffles, prizes, and a silent auction, all with a Green and Gold theme. This event is open to adults aged 21 years and older.
Tickets are currently available for purchase online at www.LionSports.net/bunko2024 or at the LAA office in the Dugas Center for Southeastern Athletics, as well as from members of the Southeastern women’s basketball coaching staff and PRIDE. The proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the SLU women’s basketball program.
This year’s Bunko for Basketball marks the 12th annual fundraiser for the women’s basketball program. Head women’s basketball coach Ayla Guzzardo expressed her excitement about the event, emphasizing how it provides an opportunity for fans to get to know the players and coaches of the SLU women’s basketball team while also having a fun night out.
