In May, St. Joseph will host its first Local Business Dodgeball Tournament, giving participants the chance to test their skills and have a great time. Rhonda Juell, the Director of St. Joe Parks and Recreation, was inspired to organize the event after seeing a successful dodgeball tournament in Arizona. She reached out to businesses in St. Joseph to gauge interest and the tournament is now set for May 29th at Kennedy Community School.
Juell hopes to attract 16 teams to compete in the double-elimination format tournament, with each team requiring a minimum of eight players. The winning team will receive a championship trophy to proudly display. Registration for the event is $20 per team and the deadline is May 23rd. Anyone interested in participating or looking for more information can visit the provided link for registration details.
This event is open to all local businesses and promises to be a fun and exciting opportunity for friendly competition. Organized by the St. Joe Parks and Recreation department, the dodgeball tournament aims to bring the community closer through sport and camaraderie. Don’t miss your chance to join in on the action and showcase your dodgeball skills at this first-of-its-kind event in St. Joseph!
