Jean Therese Nowak, a loving and compassionate woman, passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 75. Born on July 31, 1948 in Alpena, Michigan to Clement and Phyllis (Hamilton) Zbytowski, she was the third of nine children.

Jean enjoyed many activities in her life, such as bowling, puzzles, traveling, going to the casino, playing games with her grandkids, and watching them play sports. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She worked for Alpena Community College as a custodian for 33 years.

Jean is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Nowak; three children: Ray Nowak, Greg (Dawn Anderson) Nowak and Jolene (Jim) Price; two grandchildren: Alex Shull and Carson Price; eight siblings; and countless friends who will miss her dearly.

A visitation will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church of All Saints Parish on Wednesday, November 22 from 9 a.m until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., led by Father Tyler Bischoff.
