This acquisition is part of STEMMER’s plan to expand its presence in North America, where it already has existing locations in Mexico and Latin America. The deal is set to be finalized in the second quarter of 2024.
Phase 1 Technology specializes in distributing a wide range of machine vision products, including cameras, sensors, lenses, industrial lighting, frame grabbers, and interface boards. Their focus is primarily on serving customers in the North American market. Through partnerships with top manufacturers like JAI, Teledyne, Hamamatsu, Baumer, and Sony, Phase 1 Technology offers a comprehensive selection of industrial vision products to their clients.
The acquisition of Phase 1 Technology will strengthen STEMMER’s position as a leading supplier of machine vision technology solutions in North America. With the addition of Phase 1 Technology’s expertise and customer base to STEMMER’s existing operations in Mexico and Latin America, the company aims to further expand its reach and provide even more comprehensive solutions for its clients.
