This summer, the South Beloit Public Library is excited to present its popular story time series for young children. Every Friday morning and Sunday afternoon, we’ll be reading and engaging in fun activities under the shade of our cottonwood tree.

The program is designed for kids aged 3-5 and will help build their nature vocabulary, as well as their understanding of Spanish and American Sign Language. Each week will have a new nature theme that will be repeated on Sundays to reinforce learning.

To make this program accessible to all families, we’re offering free admission thanks to the support from the Judith H. Adams Fund for nature literacy. Simply use the coupon code story2024 when registering for the series.

The event will take place at Nature At The Confluence, located just off I-90 at 111 E Riverfront Drive in Rockford, IL. Sessions are held every week through August 4th, with Friday mornings from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Sunday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

For more information or to register for the series, please contact Nature At The Confluence or the South Beloit Public Library at (815) 200-6910 or email info@natureattheconfluence.com.
