In 2023, Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame inductee John Isner achieved the No. 1 spot on the ATP Doubles Rankings alongside his partner, Ivan Dodig. The pair was ranked No. 2 in the world, and together they secured five tournament wins, including a Grand Slam Title at the French Open at Roland Garros. This marked a significant achievement for Krajicek, as he had previously lost in the Paris title match in 2022.

Krajicek’s impressive performance in doubles during the 2023 season saw him post a record of 47-19 and hold the No. 1 ranking for 13 weeks, including 10 consecutive weeks at the end of the season. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Krajicek amassed an impressive total of 7,130 doubles points throughout his career, surpassing his partner Dodig by just over 500 points and outpacing Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden by over 740 points to secure third place on the year-end rankings.

Krajicek’s remarkable success on the court also extended to individual accolades. He became only the second player to ever finish a year as the top-ranked player on an ATP ranking when he achieved this feat in 2023. Additionally, he claimed all five titles at or above the ATP 500 levels and reached the Semifinals of the U.S. Open with Dodig by his side. Overall, Krajicek’s achievements on both an individual and team level make him one of tennis’ most successful players in recent years.
