In the quarter-finals, Switzerland faced Sweden and won with a score of 8-7, while Lithuania achieved their first-ever semi-final appearance with an impressive 11-1 victory over England. Canada defeated Latvia by a score of 12-0 in just six ends and will now be facing Scotland, who secured a spot in the semi-finals after beating Japan by 5-4 in their quarter-final match.
On the other hand, the men’s competition has determined its quarter-final lineup. Sweden, who emerged victorious in their group without suffering a loss, will be facing Czechia in Friday afternoon’s session. Canada, who also remained undefeated in their round-robin matches, will go up against Norway in their quarter-final match. In the other half of the draw, Switzerland, who have maintained a perfect record so far, will be competing against the United States. Additionally, Scotland will be facing a Germany team that has yet to experience a loss in the competition.
