During the virtual event, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, will provide remarks. Representatives from various UN agencies, development organizations and government partners will also be present to mark this significant moment in digital health transformation.
The Global Initiative on Digital Health is a network managed by the WHO with the goal of coordinating resources to support digital health transformation led by individual countries. As part of this initiative, key stakeholders will work together to implement the Global Strategy on Digital Health 2020-2025. Objectives include assessing and prioritizing country needs, aligning resources and building capacity for local development and adaptation of digital health technologies.
Membership in the Global Initiative on Digital Health is open to all institutions engaged in digital health, demonstrating a commitment to collaborative efforts in achieving its goals.
