Wärtsilä, a leading technology company, is pleased to announce that it has been selected to provide its state-of-the-art simulator technology to the new maritime training center in Kotka. The order was placed by the Southeastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) and the Kotkan-Hamina region’s educational community association (Ekami) in November 2023.

The delivery of this equipment is expected to take place in August 2024 and will further strengthen Wärtsilä’s long-standing partnership with Xamk. Xamk has been using Wärtsilä’s training simulator for over 20 years, demonstrating their trust and satisfaction with the company’s technology.
