Local Teen Achieves Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Pitt

On Saturday, 17-year-old RJ Krishnaswamy received a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh, marking a significant milestone in his academic journey. RJ had previously earned his bachelor’s degree from Pitt last year and expressed his excitement to KDKA-TV, expressing his happiness to have something tangible to show for his hard work.

Defending a thesis was a challenging aspect of RJ’s academic journey, but he felt proud to have achieved this milestone. Professor Daniel Mosse, a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh, commended RJ for choosing their institution for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Now equipped with his master’s degree, RJ mentioned that he is undecided about his next steps but is eagerly awaiting a response from Pitt regarding the beginning of his doctorate studies.
