Deer Park High School Welcomes New Members to Math and Science Honor Societies

At Deer Park High School, 40 new Math Honor Society members and 32 new Science Honor Society members were welcomed during the annual induction ceremony. The scholars were recognized for their achievements as existing members from both honor societies were celebrated.

Kaleigh Pizzirusso gave a keynote speech, encouraging the new inductees to embrace their passion for math and science while exploring the natural world and discussing theories with peers who share the same curiosity.

Muhsin Maqsood, President of the Math Honor Society, emphasized the importance of dedication to studies and academic excellence. He expressed confidence that these students have the potential to become future leaders in their respective fields on a global scale. Science National Honor Society President Calvin Nguyen echoed his sentiments, praising the new members for their enthusiasm towards science and academic excellence.

The induction ceremony highlighted the hard work and commitment of these students to excel academically and pursue their passions in math and science.
