As the final spring sports season comes to a close, we are proud to announce our Patriot Auto Group Athlete of the Week, powered by Tri County Tech. This week, we are highlighting Brenden Asher, a standout pitcher from Bartlesville High School. Throughout his three years as a varsity District starting pitcher and an Indian pitcher for Doenges Ford, Asher has consistently demonstrated excellence in his craft.
Asher’s impressive high school career culminated in his final regular season start as a Bruin, where he threw seven innings of one-run baseball. He has recently signed to play NCAA Division I baseball at Oral Roberts next year, continuing a tradition of Bartlesville players heading to ORU. In particular, Asher will follow in the footsteps of two previous Bruins who made the same choice.
Despite some ups and downs in the 2024 season, Asher and his fellow seniors have provided leadership for a younger group of Bruins. With Regionals just around the corner and an official bracket yet to be released, BHS is set to face off against the Redhawks in their first-round game at Union.
