Bethany Lutheran College swept Martin Luther College with a 15-3 win in seven innings at ISG Field. The game ended early due to the 10-run rule, following previous victories of 22-5 and 13-3 in the series.
John Lutzi secured the win for BLC, pitching all seven innings and allowing two earned runs with six strikeouts. Carter Seltz took the loss for MLC, giving up six earned runs in two innings. At the plate, Parker Winghart went 2 for 4 with a double, Jackson Lindemann was 2-3, Mason Cox hit a two-run home run, and Caleb Heckendorf added a double for MLC. MLC will now face the University of Wisconsin – Superior after a tough loss against a strong opponent. However, they will look to bounce back in their upcoming matches and continue to improve as a team.
