Paraclimbing World Cup Heads to Arco, Italy: The Next Stop on the IFSC’s Global Tour

The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) and the Italian Federation (FASI) are thrilled to announce that the third IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup will be held in Arco, Italy on September 27 and 28. This event will be the first competition to take place in the newly renovated national training center for Team Italy, which is expected to be completed by this summer. The venue will host athletes and teams year-round with indoor walls for Boulder, Lead, and Speed climbing.

The upcoming season of Paraclimbing World Cups includes events in Salt Lake City, USA on May 7 and 8, Innsbruck, Austria on June 24 and 25, and the final event in Arco, Italy. The series continues to grow in popularity and participation, highlighting the talent and dedication of paraclimbers from around the world.

The Paraclimbing World Championships in Bern, Switzerland saw a record-breaking number of participants in 2023, with 202 athletes from 25 countries competing. The upcoming season promises to be an exciting conclusion to the series, with top athletes competing on newly renovated and state-of-the-art climbing walls in Arco.
