In Beijing, on April 28, 2024, an award ceremony was held to recognize the achievements of young female scientists. The event saw 20 individuals and five teams receive awards dedicated to honoring the contributions of young women in the scientific field. Shen Yiqin, Chinese State Councilor and president of the All-China Women’s Federation, graced the occasion with her presence.

The award, established in 2004, has so far honored 204 outstanding women in the science sector.
