Castle Country Business Expansion and Retention (BEAR) Prioritizes Local Business Growth

The Castle Country Business Expansion and Retention (BEAR) initiative is a volunteer group that supports local businesses in Carbon and Emery counties. Led by Shanny Wilson, the Carbon County Economic Development & Tourism Director, BEAR aims to promote growth and job creation within the community. By strengthening existing businesses, the initiative contributes to the economic resilience and sustainability of the region.

The next meeting on April 25 will feature Brock Johansen, CEO of Emery Telcom, discussing collaborative efforts in economic development. These meetings provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing among local businesses, community members, leaders, and economic development stakeholders. Attending these meetings is a great way to stay updated on developments and opportunities in Carbon and Emery counties.

For more information or to get involved with BEAR General Meetings, contact Nick Tatton, Price City Community Director at [communitydirector@priceutah.net](mailto:communitydirector@priceutah.net). Join us in supporting the growth and prosperity of our community through BEAR!
