The American Academy of Nursing is currently seeking abstract submissions for the 2024 Health Policy Conference, which will take place from Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, 2024 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. Titled “Courageous Transformations Towards an Equitable Future Conference,” the event aims to focus on the importance of virtual health, community-based partnerships and the economic value of nursing in advancing towards a more equitable future.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about leadership strategies for systemic change and promoting overall well-being. Interprofessional thought leaders in policy and practice will share key interventions for health equity that will transform the way healthcare is delivered, paid for, and received. The conference will provide a platform for fellows, nurses, students, policymakers and other stakeholders to engage in a conversation that will help them prepare for trusted collaborations and take bold actions to advance evidence-driven policy solutions.
