Minnesota Vikings have waived wide receiver Daylen Baldwin, ending his time with the team. The decision was made to make room on the 90-man roster for new undrafted rookies who will be signing with the team for the upcoming rookie minicamp. Baldwin had initially been signed to the Vikings’ practice squad last November and then secured a future deal with the team after the regular season ended.
Daylen Baldwin originally entered the NFL with the Cleveland Browns in 2022 after going undrafted. During his time with the Browns, Baldwin spent most of his rookie year on the practice squad before being elevated for one game where he caught two passes for 25 yards. Now, with his departure from the Vikings, Baldwin will be looking for a new opportunity in the NFL to continue his professional career. It is always a competitive environment in the league, and Baldwin will need to prove himself once again to earn a spot on another team.
