The Los Angeles Dodgers won the game against the Miami Marlins 3-1, extending their winning streak to six games. Teoscar Hernández’s two-run homer in the sixth inning was a crucial moment for the Dodgers. Freddie Freeman started the inning with a double, and Hernández followed with a home run off Ryan Weathers.
The Marlins scored only one run, courtesy of Bryan De La Cruz’s solo home run in the fourth inning. The Marlins continue to be impacted by injuries, as RHP Edward Cabrera was placed on the injured list for the second time this season, while LHP Braxton Garrett was reinstated from the IL and will start on Sunday against Philadelphia.
