Caney Valley Ramona’s Cooper Fogle and Bartlesville High’s Gentry Turner were awarded the Athlete of the Year titles at the Patriot Auto Group Night of Scholars and Champions. Both Turner and Fogle are multi-sport athletes who have excelled in various sports and hold impressive rankings in the state in their respective categories.
Turner has achieved a top-5 finish in 6A cross country and is expected to add to her accomplishments at the upcoming track and field state competition. On the other hand, Fogle is known for his success in track and field as well as for leading in tackles for Caney Valley. He secured the pole vault 2A title last year and placed third this spring.
Congratulations to Turner, Fogle, and all the other athletes who have been recognized throughout the season as athlete of the week honorees. Their hard work, dedication, and talent have not gone unnoticed, and they deserve every recognition they receive.
