EA Sports’ highly anticipated college football video game is set to feature a more realistic broadcast experience. According to Kirk Herbstreit, one of the announcers who worked on College Football 25, there will be multiple broadcast teams in the game that will change based on the significance of the matchup. Different announcing partners will be featured depending on the magnitude of the game being played.
Herbstreit revealed that he and Chris Fowler won’t be the only voices players hear in every game. Instead, different broadcast teams will be assigned based on the importance of the game. EA Sports senior vice president Daryl Holt mentioned that more details about the announcers in the game would be revealed in coming weeks. Fowler and Herbstreit are known for being ABC’s primetime game of the week’s broadcast team.
Other ESPN colleagues such as Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Jesse Palmer, and Kevin Connors have confirmed their involvement in the game. Davis and Howard are part of College Gameday team, Palmer is a studio analyst and color commentator, while Connors is an anchor. Fowler shared that he spent 115 hours recording his lines for the game, including names of 700 college football players.
