Matt Ryan, a former NFL quarterback, has recently announced his retirement after 15 years in the league. CBS Sports has confirmed that Ryan will be joining their team as a studio analyst on “The NFL Today.” This news comes as longtime analysts Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason are set to leave the show.

Ryan, who previously worked as an NFL game analyst for CBS Sports, will now be a part of the studio crew alongside James Brown, Nate Burleson, Bill Cowher, and JJ Watt.
