In response to the rising number of suicide cases in the Chicago area, Franciscan Health is offering free suicide prevention courses. These courses are based on a curriculum developed by the QPR Institute and will equip participants with the skills to recognize warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to provide help.
Several upcoming courses are available in different locations. Franciscan Health Michigan City is hosting a course on April 30th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central time.
