Two West Hartford high schools, Conard High School and Hall High School, have recently been recognized for their excellence by being named in the top 3% of all high schools in the nation by the U.S. News & World Report 2024 list. Conard ranked at No. 564 and Hall was ranked at No. 362.
The U.S. News & World Report list highlights the best high schools in the country and has further solidified the reputation of these two Connecticut schools as exceptional educational institutions. In addition to their national rankings, both schools were recognized as top high schools in the state of Connecticut.
According to a recent press release, Hall’s ranking moved up to No. 6 and Conard remained at No. 10 among all public high schools in Connecticut this year, marking a significant improvement for Hall who jumped from No. 11 last year to their current ranking of number six in statewide rankings among public high schools in CT . This achievement is a testament to the dedication of teachers and staff at both schools who have contributed to this recognition.
Superintendent Paul Vicinus expressed his pride and gratitude for the hard work of the teachers and staff at both schools that led to this achievement . He emphasized on how important it is for quality PK-12 programming across all schools in district , highlighting the commitment of teachers to make a positive impact on every student’s educational journey
