Helsinki Stock Exchange sees another drop on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange experienced a slight decline, with the OMXH general index ending at 9,735.18 points, a decrease of 0.1 percent. This marked the sixth consecutive day of decline for the general index. The most traded stocks of the day were Nordea (+1.2%), Roots (+0.9%), and Sampo (+0.4%), while decliners included Kone (-0.9%), Stora Enso (-0.9%), and Cargotec (-1.0%).

Fund company Titanium issued an earnings warning, stating that the current year’s turnover is expected to fall below the medium-term target level. Titanium’s price fell by 7.9 percent to 11.65 euros. IT company Tecnotreen saw a 5.3 percent increase in its share price. Sanoma Media Finland concluded change negotiations that resulted in the termination of eight employees.

In other news, Fortum secured a five-year electricity sales agreement with Swedish ferroalloy producer Werewolf Alloyxen, while Wärtsilä signed a contract with the LCRA authority in Texas for the supply of ten power generators for the Texas power grid. Analysts provided several recommendation changes for different companies, including adjustments to target prices and recommendations for Oma Säästöpankki, Honkarakenne, Mandatum, Stora Enso, Huhtamäki, Kesko, UPM-Kymmene, Wärtsilä, Cargotec, Pihlajalinna and more .
