Herc Rentals, a leading equipment rental company with operations in key metropolitan markets across North America, has acquired Rental Works of Maryland. Founded in 2007 and operating four branches, Rental Works of Maryland serves the Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia markets.
Herc Rentals completed four acquisitions in the first quarter of the year, adding 11 new locations and four greenfield locations to its network. As of March 31, the company’s total fleet was valued at approximately $6.4 billion, with an average fleet age of 47 months. Herc Rentals is focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing fleet efficiency and expenses, and expanding its network through acquisitions and greenfield locations in key metropolitan markets.
