On April 16, inspectors from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health conducted a surprise inspection at the UCI International facility on Nguyen Van Cu Street in District 1 and discovered that they were offering services to “increase penis size” for customers, despite being registered for sauna and massage services only. The inspection revealed that the facility had two customers undergoing services related to increasing size, among others.
During the inspection, it was found that the room doors on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors were locked. Upon requesting the facility’s representative to open the doors, it was revealed that the 4th and 5th floors were used for customer services, each floor having a room with beds and products. The 6th floor was used to store goods and cosmetics for guests. Since the facility could not provide invoices or documents for the products, they were detained temporarily.
Further investigation into the facility’s social media presence revealed advertisements for services such as andrology, face rejuvenation, and body lift. However, it was discovered that the Health Department had only approved sauna, massage
