Hooligans Cause Chaos on Yerevan-Yeraskh Highway with Burning Tires: Criminal Proceedings Initiated

On April 24, criminal proceedings were initiated in response to the disruption of traffic on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway using burning tires. This incident occurred at 4:25 p.m. and involved unidentified individuals moving Ford Tranzit, BMW X5, and Mercedes Benz cars to the lanes of the Yerevan-Yeraskh interstate highway in the Masisi section. These cars were then set on fire on one side towards Yeraskh and on the other side towards Yerevan, causing a disruption in traffic for a certain period of time.

The Investigative Committee categorized this offense as group hooliganism (Article 297, Part 2, Clause 1 of the Criminal Code). The committee is currently working to identify those responsible for this act and bring them to justice. The police have been instructed to investigate and locate the individuals involved in this incident.
