Impartiality Woes: Challenges in Selecting Jurors in Donald Trump’s Criminal Trial

The trial against Trump involves allegations that he paid $130,000 to porn actress Stormy Daniels to conceal a relationship before the 2016 elections. Trump, who did not comment to the press upon arriving at court, has pleaded not guilty to the 34 charges brought against him. The trial is expected to last for two months, but delays may occur due to challenges in finding impartial jurors. Several potential jurors were ruled out for impartiality reasons, and one more juror is set to be questioned for inconsistencies in their statements during the selection process on Monday.
