Sports Medicine Update: Walter’s Status Uncertain for Sporting’s Match Against St. Louis on April 20, 2024

SportingKC.com’s Sports Medicine Report provides the latest health updates for Sporting Kansas City ahead of their upcoming game against St. Louis on Saturday night at Children’s Mercy Park. The rivalry between the two teams is heating up, making it an exciting game for both sides and fans alike.

One concern for Sporting Kansas City is the injury of midfielder Remi Walter, who injured his ankle in the first half of last weekend’s game against Miami. He is currently questionable for the upcoming match.

In terms of player status, Memo Rodriguez and Remi Walter are also listed as questionable for Sporting Kansas City, while defender Logan Ndenbe is ruled out due to an ACL injury. On St. Louis’ side, defenders Josh Yaro and midfielder Njabulo Blom, Eduard Lowen, and forward Sam Adeniran are all listed as questionable, with Adeniran’s absence not related to an injury.

The game will take place on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. CT (actual kickoff at 7:40 p.m. CT) and can be streamed in English and Spanish on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Local radio stations Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will broadcast the game, with a limited number of tickets available on SeatGeek.com.
