Ivy Tech Community College recently unveiled a new biopharmaceutical lab to provide hands-on learning experiences for students. The Biopharma Science & Technology Lab is located in the Illinois Fall Creek Center at 2535 N. Capitol Ave, just north of downtown Indianapolis. This new facility aims to support and enhance careers in biopharmaceutical manufacturing by offering customized education and training opportunities.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Stacy Atkinson, Chancellor of Ivy Tech, expressed her pride and excitement for the new lab. She emphasized the lab’s role as a center for opportunity for Ivy Tech students, who will be future employees in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Atkinson highlighted the college’s dedication to providing top-quality education and hands-on experience to help students succeed in this industry.

The new facility is part of a $15 million investment in Ivy Tech Community College by Eli Lilly and Co., scheduled to continue through 2028.
