The University of Jamestown softball team faced Morningside University on Saturday, April 27 at the Mustangs’ Jensen Softball Complex. The Jimmies started the game strong, with Abby Blair scoring the first run by singling home Trinity Gregg in the first inning. They added another run to take a 2-0 lead before Morningside scored in the third to make it 2-1. The Jimmies secured the win with a run-scoring single by Gracie Fisher in the fifth, ending the game with a score of 3-1.
In the second game of the doubleheader, Morningside took a commanding lead in the second inning, scoring three runs on five hits. The Jimmies fought back with three runs of their own in the third, tying the game at 3-3. Both teams scored in
