As a Sports Reporter at The Jamestown Sun, I am Max O’Neill, originally from New York. I graduated from Ithaca College in 2020 with a degree in Television-Radio. On Friday, April 19, at Harold Newman Arena, the University of Jamestown successfully defended their home court in the GPAC tournament with a sweep over Kansas Wesleyan University (25-15, 25-12, 25-18).
The first set was back and forth until the Coyotes trailed by only four points at 11-7. However, the Jimmies pulled away with a kill and took the lead with a score of 12-7. From there on out, the Jimmies dominated the game and finished it off with a final score of 25-15. The full story will be available soon.
