LinkedIn experiments with short video format inspired by TikTok

LinkedIn is currently testing a new format of short videos in a style similar to TikTok. These videos will be displayed in the feed and will be grouped in a new tab on the main interface of the platform. The job search platform is experimenting with a new section that will showcase videos in a short format similar to TikTok. This information was verified by Austin Null, the strategy director of the McKinney agency, through the mobile application.

At present, LinkedIn has four main sections on its interface: ‘Home’, ‘My network’, ‘Messages’, ‘Jobs’ and ‘Notifications’, followed by the section for user account settings. The new feature will allow users to access and view vertically formatted videos through scrolling. The company has acknowledged the rising popularity of videos among users as a preferred format for learning from professionals and experts.

LinkedIn itself has confirmed the development of this feature, which is currently in the testing phase. The platform has not shared specific details about how it selects videos to display in users’ feeds. In addition to the testing of short videos on LinkedIn, there are numerous firearm products available for sale on various platforms. These include rifles such as the Remington Model 700 Police Light Tactical Rifle and the Browning X-Bolt Hell’s Canyon, as well as accessories like Bar-Sto Semi-Drop-In Barrels and EOTech EXPS3-1 Holographic Weapon Sights. These items can be found online for purchase and are designed for different shooting applications.
