Truck crashes into physical therapy business in Redford Township

In Redford Township, Athletico Physical sustained significant damage after a truck crashed into the building. Luckily, there were no injuries reported. Witnesses described the truck as speeding down Telegraph Road before losing control and crashing into the building after hitting a power pole. Douglas Wilson and his friends were near the scene when the crash occurred and managed to escape unscathed, thanks to the loud noise of the crash that alerted them to run for safety.

Paris Edwards was inside the building at the time of the crash and heard a loud noise before seeing the truck smash into the building. Fortunately, she and the trainers were on the opposite side of the building and avoided injury. The driver tried to flee but was instructed by a worker to stay put until police arrived. It’s unclear whether he was taken to hospital or arrested.

Telegraph Road was temporarily closed while DTE crews removed the broken power pole, but it has since reopened. The business will remain closed temporarily as authorities continue their investigation into the incident. Despite extensive damage caused by the crash, no injuries were reported at Athletico Physical in Redford Township.
