Gulf stocks show mixed performance as Saudi Stock Exchange takes Eid Al-Fitr break

The Gulf stock markets had varying performances on Sunday ahead of the Eid al-Fitr holiday. In the Emirates, the markets went on holiday until Shawwal 3, while Saudi Arabia entered the Eid Al-Fitr holiday and resumed trading on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

The Kuwait Stock Exchange general market index fell by 1.05% to 7,195.53 points during trading of 86.07 million shares worth 31.77 million dinars. Ahli saw a 1.20% increase, Zain a 1.03%, Commercial Real Estate a 0.78%, Human Soft a 0.6%, Mizan a 0.56%, while Gulf B experienced a decline of 3.61%.
