New Zealand-born Corey Anderson has been named in the USA squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the West Indies in June. Anderson played for New Zealand in both the ODI and T20 World Cups before switching allegiances to play for the United States.

Joining Anderson in the squad are Ali Khan, known for his extensive T20 league experience around the world, and Shayan Jahangir, who began his cricket career in Pakistan and has represented USA in ODIs before. Gajanand Singh and Usman Rafiq have been left out of the squad.

Milind Kumar, a former Delhi batter and top run-scorer in India’s Ranji Trophy, is also part of the squad. Monank Patel and Aaron Jones have been retained as captain and vice-captain, respectively, after leading the team to a series win against Canada. The squad will kick off the tournament with a match against Canada in Dallas on June 1.
