Rough Guides, an online trip-planning company, has recently conducted a survey asking its readers to vote on the world’s most beautiful countries. The results are now in and New Zealand has claimed the top spot.
Praised for its diverse scenery and the beauty of its people and culture, New Zealand offers a wide range of landscapes that are breathtaking. With around 600 islands, the country boasts stunning beaches like Maitai Bay and majestic peaks such as Mount Taranaki. The vibrant cities of Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch are also set in picturesque surroundings.
Italy came in second place in the survey, featuring picturesque mountain ranges, lovely islands, beautiful beaches, and stunning cities. Canada secured the third spot, followed by Switzerland in fourth place.
