Alex Nedeljkovic, a 28-year-old goaltender from Parma, Ohio, has been selected to represent Team USA at the 2024 IIHF World Championship. This will be his first time participating in the tournament and he is excited to represent his country on an international stage.
Nedeljkovic joined the Pittsburgh Penguins this season through free agency on July 1, 2023. In the 38 games he played, including 33 starts, he recorded a record of 18-7-7 with a 2.97 goals-against average, .902 save percentage, and one shutout. Notably, he had a 10-game point streak towards the end of the season, going 7-0-3 with a 2.81 goals-against average and .905 save percentage from March 24 to April 11.
