As the IIHF World Championships approach, the Ottawa Senators are expected to have a strong presence at the tournament. Three players from the Senators will be representing Team USA: Brady Tkachuk, Jake Sanderson, and Shane Pinto.
Tkachuk will be making his fourth appearance for Team USA, having previously played in the U-17 World Hockey Challenge, captained the team at the U-18 World Junior Championships, and won bronze at the World Junior Championships. He has accumulated 21 points in 19 international games.
Sanderson will be participating in his fourth international tournament for Team USA, having played in the U-17 World Hockey Challenge, won gold at the World Juniors, and appeared in one game at the Olympics in 2022.
Pinto will be making his second appearance for Team USA after scoring seven points in five games at the 2020 World Juniors.
