The Panthers made history by being the first team to sign their entire draft class, with all seven picks under contract. This rookie minicamp, set to begin on Friday, will give fans their first glimpse of the new players on the field.
Leading the draft class is first-round pick Xavier Legette, a talented receiver from South Carolina. He will be joined at practice by third-round linebacker Trevin Wallace and fourth-round tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders. Fifth-round cornerback Chau Smith-Wade and sixth-round defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy will also be there, as will seventh-round linebacker Michael Barrett.
Although second-round pick Jonathon Brooks will not be participating in the minicamp as he continues to recover from an ACL tear, he brings excitement and potential to the Panthers as they begin their journey in the NFL. This new class of players is sure to make a difference for the team as they look forward to a successful season ahead.
