During the spring season, a poll opened every Monday on democratandchronicle.com to choose the Athlete of the Week based on outstanding performances from the previous week. It’s up to you to decide who will be recognized as Section V’s top athlete, and your vote is critical in making that happen. The Penfield junior had an impressive season in outdoor track and field, scoring 2962 points at the Batavia Blue Devil Invitational to achieve the best boys pentathlon performance of Section V for 2021. As a result of his hard work and dedication, he has been named the Boys Sports Athlete of the Week by Advantage Federal Credit Union with a significant number of votes cast in his favor.
