The City of Milwaukee is preparing for the upcoming Republican National Convention, which will take place in just 70 days. To address these concerns, the Secret Service and Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee recently held a ‘Coffee and Conversation’ event for business owners. The event provided an opportunity for businesses to ask questions and receive guidance from experts on how to navigate security measures during the RNC.
During the event, Alison Prange, Chief Operating Officer of the Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee, emphasized the importance of businesses reaching out for support. She noted that the Secret Service is committed to working with businesses to ensure smooth operations during the RNC, including facilitating deliveries to restricted areas.
Businesses were encouraged to direct specific questions to the Host Committee, who will be hosting two more ‘Coffee and Conversation’ events on May 13th and May 20th at different locations in Milwaukee. These events provide an opportunity for businesses to address any further concerns they may have about operating during the RNC.
