The Best Places to Work program is a highly esteemed awards program that recognizes companies that have created a positive work environment and attract and retain top talent. An independent firm, Workforce Research Group, determines the selection and ranking of these companies. In order to qualify for this program, companies must meet certain criteria, such as having at least 15 full- or part-time permanent employees working in Baton Rouge and operating within the nine designated parishes.
Participating companies will be evaluated based on a questionnaire about their policies, practices, demographics, and benefits, as well as a survey of randomly selected employees on key focus areas including role satisfaction, work/life balance, leadership, and training. The results will be featured in a special issue of Business Report in October 2024 and an event will be held to celebrate the recipients.
