The Savage River Lodge, a Frostburg-based hospitality business, has agreed to pay $150,000 and provide additional relief to settle a pregnancy discrimination and retaliation case brought against it. The EEOC announced the settlement, which was reached after allegations that the business failed to provide an employee with necessary accommodations for her pregnancy and terminated her employment after she disclosed a miscarriage.

According to the EEOC, this behavior violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
