State Street Science Weekend

The annual science festival, Science on State Street, is hosted by Framingham State University in collaboration with the MetroWest STEM Education Network. This free community event will take place on Saturday, April 27 from Noon to 3 p.m. at the Christa McAuliffe Center and O’Connor Hall parking lot.

The theme of this year’s event is planet Earth and how science, technology, engineering, and math support environmental justice, renewable energy, and sustainability efforts. Visitors can explore various exhibits and activities that highlight the intersection of science and environmental issues.

This year’s exhibitors include MIT Lincoln Labs offering a table on building a lightsaber, Boston Scientific with an interactive human body exhibition, MathWorks demonstrating the Power of AI, and the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center providing information on STEM professionals’ contributions to soldier protection. There will be additional booths and activities for visitors to enjoy.
