Bartlesville’s Slow Pitch Softball Team Readies for 6A State Tournament
The Bartlesville slow pitch softball team is gearing up for the 6A State Tournament, set to take place in just a few hours. BHS will be facing Choctaw in the first round of the eight-team single-elimination tournament. Two Bartlesville seniors, Allie Scullawl and Chelsea Goddard, have been pivotal in leading the team deep into the postseason. Scullawl serves as Bartlesville’s everyday pitcher, while both players have excelled at the plate.
Head coach Kyle Minton praises his senior leaders for their performance on the field. Bartlesville has been on a winning streak in recent weeks, particularly with impressive victories over Owasso in the Regional games leading up to the state tournament. Minton emphasizes the importance of maintaining consistency as the team moves forward to compete in the Final 8.
