Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper and media personality, has announced his partnership with the Arizona Bowl. This marks the first time an alcohol brand has collaborated with a college bowl game. The event, officially named “Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop,” will take place on December 28 at Arizona Stadium. Teams from the Mountain West Conference and Mid-American Conference will face off in this thrilling matchup.
Previously sponsored by Barstool, the digital media company, the Arizona Bowl is now associated with Snoop Dogg’s new premium spirits company, Gin & Juice. Named after Snoop’s popular 1994 hit, Gin & Juice is the first product from the collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
In a video shared on social media, Snoop Dogg expressed his passion for college football and his desire to refocus on the fundamentals of the sport amidst issues like NIL (Name, Image and Likeness), conference realignment, and coach movement. As a coach and supporter of all levels of the game, Snoop Dogg emphasized the importance of colleges, players, competition, community, fan experience, and pageantry in college football.
